About this loop
A tall Gothic window in the style of 19th-century painted glass shows Jesus the Good Shepherd in a red robe, carrying a lamb on his shoulders with his staff in hand. Warm light passes slowly across the glass and colored light falls onto the stone. The window sits in the left third; the dark wall to its right is where your lyrics go. Made for Christmas, and right all year.
Questions
Why four versions of Advent Glass?
Many churches change color through Advent: violet (or blue) for weeks one, two and four, rose for week three, and white or gold for Christmas. Advent Glass comes rendered in all four, and its After Effects project lets you set any colors you like.
How do they loop?
Every moving part repeats exactly every 30 seconds, so the last frame flows into the first with no jump. Set your player to loop. In the After Effects project, Speed takes whole numbers (1, 2, 3) so faster versions still loop.
Will my lyrics be readable?
Yes. Each loop keeps the middle of the frame dark and quiet for white text. Gold Silk carries its gold along the top and bottom edges, so keep lyrics centered on that one.
What can I play them in?
Anything that plays an .mp4: ProPresenter, Resolume, EasyWorship, OBS, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve. The After Effects projects need After Effects 2023 or newer. No plugins.
Can I change the colors?
Yes, in After Effects. Each loop's colors, Hue Shift, Speed, Brightness, Grain, Glass Amount (on the glass loops) and Vignette are on one CONTROLS layer.
Can I buy one loop?
No. The loops are sold as one pack. They're also included in Launchframe Unlimited.
Can I use them in services and client work?
Yes. Use them in services, events, livestreams and client work, including monetized video. You can't resell or share the files themselves.
How were the stained-glass windows made?
The window artwork for Tracery, Nativity Window and Good Shepherd was created with an image model and finished and animated in After Effects. The images come in the download, so the project opens complete.
