About this template

For comment-to-get-the-link videos: a bubble pops from its tail with three typing dots, opens to fit your text, and the keyword lands in an accent chip inside the sentence, with a second line underneath. The bubble sizes itself to the longest line.

Questions

Can I buy one template from the pack?

No. Captions & Hooks is sold as one pack of all 12 templates. It's also included in LaunchFrame Unlimited.

How do the captions sync to my voice?

Type the phrase and trim the clip to where it's spoken. The words spread across the clip, weighted by word length and punctuation, so trimming lines them up. For longer passages, cut a new clip at each phrase, the way short-form captions are usually made. There's no automatic transcription.

What size are they?

2160 x 3840 (vertical 4K), and they scale onto 1080 x 1920 sequences. Captions sit above the bottom area where TikTok, Reels and Shorts put buttons and descriptions, and Position and Scale move any template.

What fonts do they use?

Anton and Inter, both free under the SIL Open Font License. The font files are in the download: install them before you open the templates.

Can I trim them to any length?

Yes. Intros and outros are protected, so they play at full speed and only the middle changes. Captions spread their words across the clip, the progress bar fills across it, and the Wait For It timer line drains to the end of it.

What do I need?

Premiere Pro 2023 or newer for the .mogrt files, or After Effects 2023 or newer for the project. No plugins and no footage to relink: everything is built from shapes and text.

Can I use them in client work and monetized videos?

Yes. Use them in unlimited personal and client videos, including monetized, broadcast and paid projects. You can't resell or share the template files themselves.

What if it doesn't work for me?
